A
50% Deposit is required to book the work. The price quoted remains
valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The deposit, once received
is nonrefundable even though the client may later withdraw the order.
In the case of accessories full payment is required on order and
is nonrefundable. |
ii. |
The
quoted price unless otherwise specified, will include all fabrics,
linings, haberdashery, design, cutting, toile, fittings and make
up through to couture finish. |
iii. |
In
the event of any materials to be used being out of stock or discontinued
by the supplier, a substitute of similar quality and description
will be used after consultation with the client. |
iv. |
Clients
supplying their own fabric do so at their own risk |
v. |
Unless
otherwise specified all designs, working drawings, patterns and
toiles remain the property of Kathryn Elizabeth Smith |
vi. |
Any
major variation from the initially agreed design requested by the
client may incur additional costs |
vii. |
The
final design must be agreed upon at the toile fitting stage, design
changes cannot be made once the fabric has been cut |
viii. |
Should
the client require more than one month between the first fabric
fitting and completion, and either gains or loses weight to the
extent that finished work has to be altered, additional costs will
be incurred. |
ix. |
The
client is required to wear the same foundation garment and shoes
of a similar height to those worn with the outfit at all fittings. |
x. |
The
work remains the property of Kathryn Elizabeth Smith until full
payment is made |
xi. |
Balance
of moneys due should be paid in two further installment of 25% (usually
at toile fitting and fabric fitting) and be paid prior to completion
and collection |
xii. |
Once
accepted and collected by the client the work is finished and no
further work will be undertaken without additional costs being incurred. |
xiii. |
Should
any clause contained in these terms and conditions be held to be
invalid such invalidity will not affect the validity of the remaining
clauses. |
xiv. |
These
terms and conditions shall be subject to and construed in accordance
with English Law.
